I attended South Kitsap High School and graduated in 1989.

There was a large block of time spent traveling through the United States learning about life from other points of view. I worked a fishing boat a few times after high school. Soon, love led me to the Azores, Portuguese Island to live for about 6 months in a tumbled down shelter. Upon returning to the U.S., I decided to travel to Michigan via a 10 speed bike buckets and a flower basket to hold snacks. The journey led me to a further spiritual quest at Son fog the Morning Yoga Center. Next, came the opportunity to be a sailor. I am a new boat owner sight unseen in Quadra Island B.C. while I am still in Michigan. Trust. Applying myself, I soon became fluent in the sailing life and language. I remodeled the inside and refinished the outside making “Minerva” the focus of life…for a while.

On a trip to visit friends in Vancouver B.C., I decided to sell Minerva to a person willing to keep her full of life. God granted me a 2010 Harley Davidson Night Train Soft Tail as a gift. The plan to ride and maintain her dwindled. I soon found a new owner for this black beauty.

Time to invest in oneself.

The knowledge of Ayurveda has been intriguing since I first heard the philosophy. I decide to send for a home course through Dr. David Frawley’s school in Albuquerque New Mexico. Time passing, soul searching, traveling, writing, creating aromatherapy candles, lotions and spray, etc.

Now is the time to be serious and go to a school. I drove to Albuquerque for Dr. Frawley’s course, not the right fit. Back to Washington. Leap of faith, pack the car and enroll at the California College of Ayurveda in Grass Valley California. After 2 years I moved back to Washington to be near those in my heart. I am searching for a place to call home while training to be an E.M.T. in Bainbridge Island and actively finishing the Ayurveda internship. God gave me a baby…Now…Step back and enjoy this blessing, let it consume the being as the baby grows. Move her, there and back again.

I involve myself in school once more to bring full circle the gifts gathered now complete.

Offer myself to those I can assist in health as Ayurveda Specialist and Massage Practitioner, creator of Allusive Mellodies products and full time mother of two.
